A Diverse Background in Public Service
Kelly’s journey to the legal profession reflects a lifelong dedication to public service and community protection. Originally from the Northeast, she paused her early pre-law track to raise her four children. She later earned a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida (UCF)—Go Knights!—and built a robust first career in first response and law enforcement. Kelly served the community initially as a Critical Care Paramedic and later as a Law Enforcement Officer, eventually retiring as a Detective Sergeant with the City of Oviedo Police Department.
Driven to complete her original career aspiration, Kelly went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in 2014. Her extensive background in crisis intervention and public safety provides her with a rare, real-world perspective that deeply benefits her legal clients today.
Community Involvement
As a long-term resident of Central Florida, Kelly deeply values the region’s diverse culture and strong sense of community. She is passionate about giving back through advocacy, particularly in support of families within the autism community. Kelly also enjoys mentoring aspiring legal professionals, helping guide the next generation with the knowledge and experience she has gained throughout her career.
Personal Life
Outside of her legal work, Kelly is a proud mother of four and grandmother of seven. She treasures time with her family and embraces opportunities to create lasting memories together. When she’s not practicing law, Kelly enjoys exploring art, traveling to new destinations, and spending relaxing days at the beach.
