Our Founding Story
More than 22 years ago, Sam Filler founded our firm with a simple mission: create a place where local families could turn for trusted legal advice, honest answers, and strong advocacy during difficult times. As a former Seminole County Prosecutor, Sam understood the importance of experience and straightforward guidance. From the beginning, our goal has been to provide personalized representation while building lasting relationships within the community we serve.
In 2015, Kelly Hedum joined the firm after retiring as a Detective Sergeant with the City of Oviedo. Her transition from law enforcement to legal advocacy was driven by the same mission that guided her public service career: helping people through the most challenging situations in their lives. Together, Kelly and Sam continue to provide the small-town accessibility and trusted counsel that define our firm today.
